摘要: An inlet guide vane having a nominal profile substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of x, y, and z set forth in TABLE 1 reduces vibration of engine components at various operating conditions. A scaling factor can be applied to the values to make the airfoil larger or smaller. The TABLE 1 x and y values are distances in inches within a tolerance which, when connected by smooth curves, define airfoil profile sections at each distance z in inches, the profile sections being joined smoothly to form a complete airfoil shape. The tolerance in an embodiment is up to about 0.16 inches.

摘要: Eleventh stage stator vanes for a compressor comprise airfoil profiles substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of x, Y and Z set forth in inches in Table I, wherein the Z coordinate values are perpendicular distances from planes normal to a radius from the compressor centerline and containing the X and Y values with the Z value commencing at zero in the X, Y plane at a radial aerodynamic section of the airfoil. X and Y are coordinate values defining the airfoil profile at each distance Z. The X, Y and Z values may be scaled to provide a scaled-up or scaled-down airfoil section for each stator vane.

摘要: A rotor wheel is provided and includes a body having first and second opposing faces and portions recessed from a plane of the first face to define therein an annular groove and a plurality of tributary grooves, the annular groove being receptive of fluid from an external source and formed to direct the fluid to flow along an annular flow path, and the plurality of tributary grooves being receptive of the fluid from the annular groove and respectively formed to direct the fluid to flow sequentially along radial and axial tributary flow paths while preventing inter-tributary groove fluid communication.
