摘要： A grinder includes an improved mechanism for adjusting the coarseness of the grind by providing a grind selector knob centrally located at the top of a cap. In some versions of the invention, the mill includes a base with a cavity for collecting the salt, spice, or pepper that is ground so that it can be measured within the base before dispensing. Ideally, the collector base includes an inclined floor and measurement indicators to enable the grinding and measuring of a desired volume of spice.
