Abstract: A valve cover for an engine and method of filtering is disclosed. The valve cover may include a cover portion and the cover portion includes a top portion, a pair of lateral sides, a pair of end sides and an edge portion. The top portion, the pair of lateral sides and the pair of end sides may have an outer surface and an inner surface. The outer surface on the top portion may define a base support and a filter element may be mounted onto the base support. The valve cover may include an interior space being defined by the inner surface and the edge surface. The edge surface may define a perimeter of the valve cover.
