Abstract: An electrical system for providing electrical power to an electric machine, where the electrical system includes a single point disconnect switch for multiple battery systems. The single point disconnect switch may be remotely mounted. In some examples, operation of the disconnect switch disconnects a first battery system, e.g., a 12 VDC nominal battery system, which, in turn, causes a disconnection of a second battery system, e.g., a 48 VDC nominal battery system.

Abstract: A strain relief device includes an elongated body having a first and second end, the elongated body defining an elongated hole extending from the first end to the second end; and edges in the body defining a plurality of voids between the first and second end, wherein the edges become shorter in length from the first end to the second end such that the shorter edges define progressively smaller voids in the body from the first end to the second end. A method of providing a strain relief is also disclosed.

Abstract: A strain relief structure is provided. The strain relief structure includes a first end having a trumpet shaped portion, and a second end having a cylindrical portion. The cylindrical portion includes one internal collar projecting from an internal surface of the cylindrical portion at a first predetermined distance from the second end. The cylindrical portion further includes two external collars projecting from an external surface of the cylindrical portion. A first external collar is provided at the second end, and a second external collar is provided at a second predetermined distance from the second end. A slit extends from the first end to the second end along a length of the strain relief structure. The strain relief structure is made of 30% glass filled polyamide 46.
