摘要: A control device for driving an external load which receives DC voltage from an energy supply unit of a vehicle and converts the DC voltage into AC voltage to supply voltage to a load outside the vehicle, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, includes: a DC/AC output inverter that converts the received DC voltage into the AC voltage and outputs the converted AC voltage by switching of a switching element; a current sensor that senses an inductor current value of an output terminal of the DC/AC output inverter; a microcontroller that receives the sensed current value and outputs a pulse width modulation control signal input to the switching element of the DC/AC output inverter; a gate drive that receives the pulse width modulation control signal output from the microcontroller and outputs a gate driving signal to a gate of the switching element; and a comparator that compares the current value sensed by the current sensor with a preset reference current value and outputs a disable signal to forcibly stop outputting the gate driving signal when the sensed current value is not within the preset reference current value range.

摘要: Implementations of a method of cooling a battery pack may include including a controller coupled with a plurality of battery cells; providing a container enclosing only an anode terminal and a cathode terminal of each battery cell, the container sealed against exterior surfaces of the plurality of battery cells. The method may include monitoring an activity of an electric vehicle using the controller and when the activity of the electrical vehicle is below a first threshold, the controller does not activate a heat removal system in fluid communication with the container; when the activity of the electrical vehicle is above the first threshold but below a second threshold, the controller activates the heat removal system in a low throughput mode; and when the activity of the electrical vehicle is above the second threshold, the controller activates the heat removal system in a high throughput mode.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for controlling an energy control system. The method includes detecting a power outage at a grid interconnection. The method includes connecting a first set of the plurality of backup loads to a backup load interconnection, in which the backup load interconnection is electrically coupled to a backup power interconnection. The method includes disconnecting a second set of the plurality of backup loads from the backup load connection such that power is interrupted between the backup power source and the second set of backup loads. The method includes receiving a request from a user device to connect at least one load of the second set of the plurality of backup loads to the backup interconnection. The method includes determining whether to connect one load of the second set of the plurality of backup loads to the backup interconnection according to one or more programmed rules.

摘要: Presented are passive temperature control systems for thermal management of electrical components, methods for making/using such thermal management systems, and aircraft equipped with smart-material activated temperature control systems for passive cooling of battery modules. A thermal management system is presented for passively cooling an electrical component stored inside a module housing. The thermal management system includes a cooling chamber that movably attaches adjacent a module housing that contains an electrical component, such as a rechargeable battery module. The cooling chamber contains a sublimable cooling agent, such as dry ice. A biasing member biases the cooling chamber away from the module housing. A smart material actuator is attached to and interposed between the cooling chamber and module housing. The smart material actuator extracts thermal energy from the module housing and, once heated to a phase transformation temperature, contracts and thereby pulls the cooling chamber into contact with the module housing.

The device (100) for holding a storage unit (3) for drive energy, e.g. of a high-voltage traction battery of a storage unit (3), comprises a first holder (100a; 100b) for fastening the device to the carrier frame (2) and a second holder (200a; 200b) for fastening the device to the storage unit (3), the second holder (200a; 200b) being configured such that it may be pushed onto, inserted into and/or latched onto the first holder (100a; 100b) in order to pre-position the first and second holders (100a; 100b; 200a; 200b) with respect to one another. This enables rapid assembly of the storage unit (3) on a production line, since the first and second holders can each be preassembled separately from one another on the carrier frame and storage unit, respectively, and may be brought together quickly and securely during assembly on the production line to hold the storage unit by pushing on, inserting into, and/or latching in the second holder (200a; 200b) on the first holder (100a; 100b).-
