摘要: A low complexity apparatus (100) and method (200) for variable color saturation, performed in combination with RGB to YUV color space conversion, is used to direct input signal noise away from a luminance channel, to which the human eye is highly sensitive, and into chrominance channels. The apparatus (100) is adapted to perform color conversion and variable color saturation of input primary color signals red, green and blue to produce variable chrominance signals and luminance invariance. The apparatus includes a luminance composition module (105) dependent on non-varying luminance composition coefficients. A first chrominance composition module (110) is dependent on the non-varying luminance composition coefficients and includes a first variable saturation coefficient that is multiplied by the difference between low pass filtered red and green primary color signals. A second chrominance composition module (115) is also dependent on the non-varying luminance composition coefficients and includes a second variable saturation coefficient that is multiplied by the difference between low pass filtered blue and green primary color signals.

摘要: There is disclosed methods, computing devices, and computer-readable media for printing and encoding RFID (radio frequency identification) labels. An RFID label document conforming to the Portable Document Format (PDF) is retrieved, the RFID label document including printable content and RFID encoding data embedded as metadata. The RFID encoding data is extracted from the RFID label document. Printable content of the RFID label document is displayed in a PDF viewer application. A print driver called by the PDF viewer application converts the printable content of the RFID label document into printer control language. The previously extracted RFID encoding data is incorporated into the printer control language, and the printer control language with incorporated RFID encoding data is transmitted to an RFID label printer.

摘要: The subject application is directed to a system and method for device-specific image manipulation. First, output device capability data corresponding to capabilities of available document output devices is stored in associated memory. Electronic document data having image data corresponding to a plurality of sub-images is then received. Device selection data is then received corresponding to a selected document output device. Capability data representing the output capabilities of the selected device is then retrieved. Image characteristic data is then determined and tested relative to the device output capability data. Selected sub-images are then merged into a single image and the image is classified in accordance with the image characteristic data. Resolution and colorant reduction are then determined in accordance with the testing output. The determined resolution and colorant reductions are then applied to the single image of the received electronic document data and output by the selected document output device.

摘要: A method and a color correction circuit (2) for color correcting a digital color sampled signal. The color correction circuit (2) has three color input channel processing circuits (31,32,33) each of the color input channel processing circuits (31,32,33) has an adder (34) with a corrected color channel output □ a first multiplied input, a second multiplied input, a third multiplied input and an uncorrected color channel input providing for direct coupling the adder to an output of a color image sensor. 摘要: The subject application is directed to a system and method for transparent object rendering. An electronic document, inclusive of a plurality of objects, is first received. The electronic document is then parsed so as to generate a transparency table. The generated table includes entries corresponding to transparency characteristics of each of the objects. Each object of the received electronic document is then processed in accordance with a corresponding transparency table entry. The system further comprises means adapted for generating a scan-line representation of each of the plurality of objects, the scan-line representation including a scan-line corresponding to an associated backdrop and a scan-line corresponding to associated pixel data. The received electronic document is thereby rendered so as to generate a rendered document.
