摘要: The present development is a catalyst for use in water gas shift processes, a method for making the catalyst and a method of using the catalyst. The catalyst is composed of iron oxide, copper oxide, zinc oxide, alumina, and optionally, potassium oxide, and is produced using a hydrothermal synthesis process. The catalyst demonstrates surprising activity for conversion of carbon monoxide under high to moderate temperature shift reaction conditions.
