摘要: A receiver (100) includes an audio section (200) which provides for compensated squelch settings which are automatically adjustable for changes in operating conditions such as changes in temperature or receiver channel spacing. Temperature circuit (128) provides a temperature signal (134) and controller (122) provides a signal indicating the channel spacing being used by receiver (100). The two signals are combined and formed into an address word which is in turn used to look-up a compensation word from memory location (218). The compensation word is then combined to a default squelch word by adder (216) providing for a compensated squelch word. The compensated squelch word automatically adjusts the squelch circuit's threshold level in order to compensate for changes in operational conditions affecting the squelch circuit.

摘要: A compound tape dispensing device comprised of a belt attachment portion. A tape holding portion is secured to the belt attachment portion. A tape retaining portion is secured to the tape holding portion to hold a roll of compound tape thereon. An unwinding prevention portion is included to preclude the roll of compound tape from unrolling by applying pressure on a circumferential face of the roll of compound tape.

摘要: Embodiments of systems, methods and devices for electronic bill presentment and payment are disclosed. Such embodiments include receiving one or more instructions from a biller at a remote computer server. Further, the remote computer server implements an electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) workflow configuration module and provisions, using the EBPP workflow configuration module, one or more configuration parameters for the biller based on the one or more received instructions. In addition, embodiments include configuring, dynamically an EBPP workflow based on the one or more received instructions and provisioned configuration parameters using the EBPP workflow configuration module. The configuring of the EBPP workflow includes generating a state machine implementing the EBPP workflow. Moreover, embodiments include configuring one or more business logic scripts by the EBPP workflow configuration module to implement the EBPP workflow as well as configuring one or more view templates by the EBPP workflow configuration module to implement the EBPP workflow.

摘要: Wireless communications devices, such as cellular telephones (100), include an integrated camera (202) and process image data captured by that camera (202) to determine desired device illumination levels. A controller (410) within the wireless communications device (100) causes an image to be captured by the integrated camera (202). The captured image data is processed to determine approximate ambient light levels. A level of device illumination, such as provided by a display backlight (416) and a keypad backlight (418) is controlled based upon the approximate ambient light levels.

摘要: The minimum transmit battery voltage (Vtx min) of a radio operating in a TDMA mode of operation or the stand-by battery voltage (Vstd-by) of the radio operating in a GSM mode of operation can be determined as a function of the combination of an in-slot transmit battery voltage (Vin-slot), an out-of-slot transmit battery voltage (Vout-slot), a stand-by compensation factor (&Dgr;sb), and a compensation factor (K). The stand-by compensation factor (&Dgr;sb) is related to a difference between the out-of-slot transmit battery voltage (Vout-slot) and a stand-by battery voltage (Vstd-by). The compensation factor (K) has a first value for the TDMA mode of operation and a second value for the GSM mode of operation. Each value of compensation factor (K) is related to the manner in which the radio utilizes battery power during transmission in the TDMA or GSM modes of operation.
