The method includes the steps of: (a) applying an adhesive onto at least one of a pair of substrates; (b) dispensing a liquid crystal material to at least one of the pair of substrates; (c) superposing one of the pair of substrates upon the other substrate; and (d) conducting a curing process of the adhesive in an air pressure greater than atmospheric pressure such that one of the substrates is concave toward the other substrate in the finished liquid crystal display.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display is disclosed. The liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal material between opposing first and second substrates, spacers for maintaining a cell gap and a plurality of first and second color filters. The method includes the steps of: (a) estimating an optimum quantity of the liquid crystal material by measuring the height of the spacers, the thickness difference between the first color filters and the second color filters, and the distance between two adjacent color filters; (b) applying an adhesive onto the periphery of the first substrate or the second substrate; (c) dispensing the liquid crystal material to the first substrate, wherein the quantity of the dispensed liquid crystals is controlled based on the estimated optimum quantity; (d) superposing the second substrate upon the first substrate; and (e) curing the adhesive to obtain the liquid crystal display.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for curing a light curable sealant in an article. The article includes opposing first and second substrates. The light curable sealant is used to attach the first substrate to the second substrate. The method includes irradiating steps (a) and (b). In the step (a), the article is irradiated by a light entering the article from the first substrate to reach the light curable sealant. In the step (b), the article is irradiated by a light entering the article from the second substrate to reach the light curable sealant. The present invention further provides curing apparatuses for accomplishing the aforementioned method.
