摘要： The present invention provides a method as well as an architecture for a host equipped with a CPU-level processing capability to access a Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) and at least a controller via a simple 3-wire/4-wire mechanism. The data stored in the NVRAM are shared with the controller and the host. More importantly, a multi-access mechanism further having a pragmatic bit determines the pragmatic bit for either the controller or the NVRAM. With the method of the present invention, computer system resources can be fully utilized, and thereby, peripheral devices can be easily added to the system in an inexpensive and highly efficient way.

The video display device has a plurality of first attaching holes allocated on its back side. The KVM device has a plurality of second attaching holes such that it is able to be compactly mounted on the back of the video display device by screwing and fastening a corresponding number of fastening devices into the first and second attaching holes. The mounting system economizes the occupied space of a KVM device and shortens the cables for data communication in a computer management system.

摘要： A control management system for controlling electrical devices is disclosed. The control management system comprises a plurality of electrical devices, and a keyboard-video-mouse switch. Each electrical device corresponds to a transforming unit for generating a protocol command signal, and a first protocol signal transceiver for wirelessly transmitting the protocol command signal via a communication interface. The keyboard-video-mouse switch comprises a plurality of second protocol signal transceivers, a plurality of converting modules, a plurality of system controllers, and a switch unit. Each of the second protocol signal transceiver corresponds to one of the first protocol signal transceivers and is used for receiving the protocol command signal from the corresponding first protocol signal transceiver. Each converting module, coupled to one of the plurality of second protocol signal transceivers, is used for converting the protocol command signal into a driving command. Each system controller, coupled to one of the plurality of converting module, is used for generating video/audio data stream based on the driving command. A switch unit is used for switching to a route to deliver the video/audio data stream from one of the plurality of converting modules to a display.

A power supply for altering an output power by detecting a power requirement of an electronic device and the electronic device having a memory. The power supply comprises a converter, a control device and a switch. The converter is able to convert an input power into the output power applied to the electronic device. The control device is coupled to the converter reads power information concerning the power requirement from the electronic device and accordingly controlling the converter to adjust the output power. The switch coupled both the converter and the control device receives a control signal of the control device and switches an output port of the power supply to the converter to transfer the output power from the converter to the electronic device.

摘要： A temperature controller for controlling a thermal module that raises or lowers the temperature of a thermal control platform that includes a reading interface and a control unit. The reading interface is used for reading parameters of the thermal control platform that are stored in a memory module. The control unit is connected to the reading interface for receiving the parameters read by the reading interface and for sending a control signal to the thermal module according to the corresponding parameters. The thermal module then raises or lowers the temperature according to the control signal. Accordingly, the temperature controller automatically adjusts the temperature control to different thermal control platforms.

摘要： The present invention provides a KVM switching system including a KVM controller, a signal converter, a processor and a linking apparatus. The booting status signal of a computer is sent to the signal converter, which then converts the status signal.
