    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) having a frame, a light guide, a panel, a flexible printed circuit (FPC) board, and an illuminating unit is provided. The frame has a first groove formed on a first sidewall thereof. The light guide positioned inside the frame has a first protrusion engaged with the first groove to prevent the deformation of the frame. The display panel is positioned above the light guide. The FPC board has a first end and a second end. The first end is connected to the display panel and the second end is attached to the bottom surface of the frame. The illuminating unit is bonded on the FPC board for providing light toward the incident surface of the light guide.

    摘要: The invention discloses an indicating/alarming apparatus which includes an optically transparent polymer plate, a light-shielding layer, a flexible circuit board, a plurality of light-emitting devices and a light-reflecting layer. The light-shielding layer is formed to overlay an upper surface of the optically transparent polymer plate. The plurality of light-emitting devices are soldered on the flexible circuit board. The flexible circuit board is mounted on a lower surface of the optically transparent polymer plate such that the plurality of light-emitting devices are disposed within an opening formed on the lower surface of the optically transparent polymer plate. Each light-emitting device emits a light entering from a light incident face of the opening into the optically transparent polymer plate which guides, due to total reflection, the light to exit from a top side surface, a bottom side surface, a first edge surface, a second edge surface and sites on surfaces whose total reflection is broken. The light-reflecting layer is formed to overlay the lower surface of the optically transparent polymer plate to reflect the light.

The conducting is installed on one side of a reflection layer, and is connected to the ground of the system. Thereby, when the reflector is applied to an edge-type or a direct-type backlight module, by grounding the electrical conduction layer, normal operations of devices in the backlight module will not be affected by electromagnetic interference (EMI) or electrostatic discharge (ESD).

    摘要: A backlight unit applied on a display device is disclosed. The backlight unit includes a base having a frame, an optical film, an adhesive and a shading tape. The frame has at least a recess, and the optical film has at least a flange for inserting in the recess of the frame. The shading tape locates on the frame, and the adhesive locates between the frame and the shading tape only. No adhesive exists between the optical film and the shading tape.
