    Abstract: Systems and methods for remote radio frequency device monitoring are provided. In one embodiment, an RF communication system comprises: an RF transceiver system; an RF device coupled to the RF transceiver system by a cable, wherein the RF transceiver system is configured transmit an RF signal to the RF device via the cable; a remote measurement transceiver in communication with a processor of the RF transceiver system; a remote measurement transponder coupled between the cable and the RF device; wherein the processor controls the remote measurement transceiver to transmit an interrogation signal to the remote measurement transponder; wherein the remote measurement transponder determines a first parameter of the at least one RF device based on the RF signal as detected at the RF device, and transmits a response signal to the remote measurement transceiver comprising measurement data; wherein the remote measurement transceiver outputs the measurement data to the processor.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for signal path isolation for neutral-host hardware are provided. In one embodiment, an isolation circuit for a multiple-subchannel wireless communication transceiver comprises: a Tx path coupled to a transmit path output of a multiple-subchannel transceiver; a Rx path coupled to a receive path input of the transceiver; a precancellation circuit comprising: an isolation adjustment circuit within the transmit path of the isolation circuit, the isolation adjustment circuit comprising a phase shifter and a reflection tuner; a directional coupler within the Rx path of the isolation circuit. The isolation adjustment circuit outputs a reflected wave signal comprising a cancellation reference signal to the directional coupler. The cancellation reference signal comprises a complex conjugate of a TX signal leakage signal component of a signal transported in the Rx path of the isolation circuit. Within the directional coupler the cancellation reference signal destructively interferes with TX signal leakage signal component.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for signal path isolation for neutral-host hardware are provided. Within the directional coupler the cancellation reference signal destructively interferes with TX signal leakage signal component.

    Abstract: In an example, a receiver protection circuit includes a directional coupler configured to be coupled to a receive signal path of a communications device between an isolation device and an amplifier of the receive signal path. The receiver protection circuit further includes a power detector coupled to the directional coupler and configured to measure a power level of a transmit leakage signal in the receive signal path. The receiver protection circuit further includes a comparator configured to compare the measured power level of the transmit leakage signal in the receive signal path to a threshold value and output an alarm signal indicating that the measured power level of the transmit leakage signal exceeds the threshold value.

    Abstract: In one example, a communications device includes transmit and receive signal paths, a duplexer coupled to the transmit and receive signal paths, and a feedback signal path coupled to the transmit signal path, wherein a portion of a transmit signal is decoupled into the feedback signal path as a feedback signal. The communications device further includes ADCs to convert feedback and receive signals to a digital feedback and receive signals. The communications device further includes a digital interference cancellation circuit to receive the digital feedback and receive signals, the digital interference cancellation circuit configured to: modify amplitude and phase of the digital feedback signal to generate a modified feedback signal; compensate the modified feedback signal for an impulse response of a coupling channel to generate a compensated, modified feedback signal; and combine the compensated, modified feedback signal with the digital receive signal to cancel, reduce, attenuate, or eliminate inference.
