摘要: Air spring strut for a motor vehicle including an air spring with a shock absorber for spring-cushioning and damping oscillations of a motor vehicle running gear assembly. The air spring includes an air spring cover and an air spring piston. An air spring bellows made of elastomeric material is clamped air-tightly between the air spring cover and the air spring piston partially delimits a working space filled with compressed air and, while forming a rolling fold, rolls on the air spring cover and/or the air spring piston. The air spring cover is embodied in two parts with a first cover part for receiving an absorber bearing and with a second cover part for fastening the air spring bellows. The first cover part is manufactured from metal and the second cover part is manufactured from plastic.

The air spring bellows includes a first air spring bellows section and a second air spring bellows section joined together in an overlap region and having reinforcing layers running at a different angle to a longitudinal axis L of the air spring. The first and second air spring bellows sections are separated by a freely movable clamp joint arranged in the overlap region.

摘要: An air suspension strut for a motor vehicle comprises an air spring having an air spring cover and a rolling piston. A shock damper is integrated with the air spring and has a damper tube and a piston rod receivable within the damper tube. A rolling bellows is secured between the spring cover and the rolling piston thereby delimiting a variable volume pressure chamber filled with compressed air. The rolling bellows rolls on the rolling piston with a rolling fold being formed. A damper bearing is accommodated in a bearing socket of the air spring cover and connected to the piston rod. The damper bearing comprises a supporting piece, an elastomer body, and a sleeve. A closure element inserted in the bearing socket above the damper bearing. An elastic element arranged between the sleeve and the closure element.

The air spring cover accommodates a first and second clamping ring for clamping the air spring bellows to fix the air spring bellows to the air spring cover. The rolling piston and air spring bellows have a common first air volume. The end of the rolling piston closest to the undercarriage accommodates a third clamping ring to seal the first air volume from the external environment. The air spring cover has a second air volume. The first air volume and the second air volume are sealed off from the external environment. The first air volume is spatially separated from the second air volume. A switch valve enables a first air path to link the second air volume to the first air volume.
