摘要: A laser crafting apparatus for directing electromagnetic radiation toward a workpiece may include various features. For example, the laser crafting apparatus may include a material support tray that is removably supported within an internal volume of the laser crafting apparatus. Further, the apparatus may include pre-filter disposed in a ventilation pathway between a workspace region of the internal volume and an extractor fan. The laser crafting apparatus may include a laser carriage assembly that houses a laser module and the assembly may include a lens tray detachably coupled to the support structure of the laser carriage assembly. In various embodiments, the laser crafting apparatus includes a lid having a radiation attenuation layer and a fire suppression layer.

The roll feeder includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may be configured to rotatably support a roll of material and the second portion may define a channel configured to receive and guide material from the roll of material therethrough. The second portion of the roll feeder may comprise guide geometry configured to operably enable a separated section of material that has been separated from the roll of material to move over a top surface of the roll of material.

The upper surface (34) of the working portion (22) extends relative to the lower surface (24) of the base portion (20) at an angle (θ22) for angularly-offsetting the working three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system (X-Y-Z) from the non-working three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system (XS-YS-ZS).
