Abstract: According to the present invention, an improved conveyor or roller pulley is provided. A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a roll core, having a lagging material attached thereto, with a multiplicity of longitudinally spaced drive surfaces, with helical grooves, formed in said lagging, adjacent which are tapered shoulder regions.
