A three-dimensional simulation system for generating a virtual environment involving a plurality of users and associated method are provided. The system includes a first sensor detecting a viewing direction of a first user, a computing unit configured to create a three-dimensional simulation of the virtual environment, based on data received from the at least one first sensor; for at least one second user, an immersive retrieval assembly for the virtual three-dimensional simulation created by the computing unit. The system includes, for the first user, a second sensor detecting the position of part of an actual limb of the first user. The computing unit is configured to create, in the virtual three-dimensional simulation, an avatar of the first user, comprising a virtual head and a virtual limb, reconstituted and oriented relative to one another based on data from the first sensor and the second sensor.
Abstract:
A system for displaying information related to a flight of an aircraft and an associated method are provided. The display system comprises a display device, a man-machine interface, a module for dynamically generating synthesis images, each comprising a synthetic depiction of the environment and a curve representative of a trajectory, said module being configured to generate a first synthesis image centered around a first central point of interest, to command the display thereof, and to detect an action to modify the central point of interest by an operator via said man-machine interface. The generating module is also configured to determine, as a function of said modification action, a second central point of interest, situated along said curve whatever said modification action is, to generate a second synthesis image centered around said second central point of interest, and to command the display thereof.

A system for displaying information related to a flight of an aircraft and an associated method are provided. The display system comprises a dynamic synthesis image generating module, configured to generate at least two successive transition synthesis images between an image according to a first type of perspective and an image according to a second type of perspective, or between an image according to a second type of perspective and an image according to a first type of perspective, respectively, and to command the display thereof at successive transition moments. Each transition image is centered around an intermediate central point of interest, seen from an intermediate point of view situated at an intermediate observation distance from the intermediate central point of interest, which is an increasing function, a decreasing function, respectively, of the transition moment at which the image is displayed, and seen from an intermediate opening angle, which is a decreasing function, an increasing function, respectively, of the transition moment at which this image is displayed.
