摘要： Disclosed in the present application are a paging method and a base station. In the technical solution of the present application, the base station receives a paging message sent by a MME, the paging message carrying auxiliary information, the auxiliary information being used for indicating a paging range and/or paging times, and the paging range comprising a cell and/or base station recommended to a target terminal of the paging message; and the base station sends the paging message according to the auxiliary information.
