Abstract: A liquid level detector includes an ultrasonic sensor that emits an ultrasonic wave toward a liquid surface of liquid in a tank, a driving circuit unit that provides a driving signal to the ultrasonic sensor to emit the ultrasonic wave, a reception circuit unit that detects a reflected wave signal that corresponds to a reflected wave from a received signal received by the ultrasonic sensor, and an arithmetic control circuit unit that computes a level of the liquid surface with the reflected wave signal. The liquid level detector further includes an inclination detection unit that detects an inclination of the liquid surface relative to a virtual surface orthogonal to a direction of the ultrasonic wave and a driving condition computing circuit unit that instructs the driving circuit unit to increase a strength of the driving signal as the inclination of the liquid surface detected by the inclination detection unit increases.

Abstract: A liquid surface sensing device is installed in a fuel tank having an opening in a ceiling part. The opening is closed by a flange with a gasket constituted by an elastomer providing a seal between the flange and a peripheral edge of the opening. Abstract: A liquid surface sensing device includes a rotational body that is made of resin and rotates according to upward and downward motion of a surface of liquid in a container, a magnet that is held by the rotational body to rotate together with the rotational body, a stationary body that is fixed to the container and rotatably bears the rotational body, and a magnetoelectric conversion element that is embedded in the stationary body and detects a magnetic field generated by the magnet to output an electric signal indicating the liquid surface. Abstract: A liquid level detection device is provided with a fixed body and a rotating body, and includes a float and an arm. The arm has an insertion portion to be inserted in the rotating body and an extending portion extending straight and bent relative to the insertion portion. The rotating body has an insertion hole in which the insertion portion is inserted in an insertion direction, a holding portion having a receiving opening receiving the extending portion in an intersecting direction intersecting with the insertion direction and holding the extending portion received by the receiving opening, and a stopper releasing the receiving opening by moving in the insertion direction due to elastic deformation from a blocking state in which a blocking portion blocks the receiving opening. The stopper has a sliding surface portion facing an opposite direction to the insertion direction, on which the extending portion is allowed to slide. A thickness of the blocking portion in the insertion direction at a tip end of the sliding surface portion is greater than a diameter of the extending portion.
