Abstract: A ranging apparatus is provided with a mirror module that rotates when being driven by a motor. The mirror module includes a pair of deflection mirrors, a mirror support member and a clip. The deflection mirrors include a narrow width portion in which a width of a reflection surface along a direction orthogonal to a rotational axis is narrower than that of other portion on the reflection surface. The mirror support member is formed in a disc shape having a shape on both surfaces thereof corresponding to a shape of the reflection surface, the deflection mirrors being disposed on the both surfaces thereof. The clip grips the deflection mirrors and the mirror support member at at least one end portion with respect to a direction orthogonal to the rotational axis between both end portions of a portion in the mirror support portion corresponding to the narrow width portion.

Abstract: A mirror module includes a pair of deflecting mirrors which deflect a transmission wave and a reflected wave in a direction in accordance with a rotation angle of a reflecting surface and rotates in accordance with drive of a motor. A dividing plate divides the pair of deflecting mirrors into two portions of a transmission deflecting portion and a reception deflecting portion. Each of the pair of deflecting mirrors includes shielding portions through which passage of the transmission waves is suppressed on at least one of a side surface closer to a transmissive window in a state where the reflecting surface faces the transmitting portion out of both side surfaces located across a rotational axis at the transmission reflecting portion or a side surface farther from the transmissive window in a state where the reflecting surface faces the receiving portion out of both side surfaces located across the rotational axis at the reception deflecting portion.

Abstract: A mirror module that deflects a non-visible laser light for scanning the non-visible laser light is provided with a deflection mirror; a mirror support; and an information display unit. The deflection mirror has a reflective surface that allows a visible light to be transmitted therethrough and reflects the non-visible laser light. The mirror support has a mirror mounting surface of which the shape corresponds to a shape of the reflective surface. The information display unit displays information related to the mirror module in a visible manner. The information display unit is disposed between the deflection mirror and the mirror mounting surface.

Abstract: In a ranging device, a mirror support has a pair of deflection mirrors installed on both surfaces. A pair of partition plates are installed to bookend the pair of deflection mirrors and the mirror support in a direction normal to the reflective surfaces of the deflection mirrors. A clip grips and secures the pair of deflection mirrors, the mirror support, and the pair of partition plates. A motor rotates these components. Each partition plate includes a plate-like portion extending along a plane normal to the axis of rotation so as to partition a corresponding reflective surface into two regions, and an upright portion extending along the corresponding reflective surface from a position on the plate-like portion where the plate-like portion faces the corresponding reflective surface. The clip grips the pair of deflection mirrors and the mirror support via the upright portion in the direction normal to the reflective surfaces.
