    Abstract: A motor includes a rotor and a stator. The rotor is rotatably supported and includes a magnet. The stator is radially opposed to the rotor and includes a plurality of coils. Each of the coils is formed by winding an electrically-conductive conductor wire in a ring shape. The coils are arranged along a circumferential direction. Moreover, for each of the coils, the conductor wire forming the coil has a first end portion radially protruding from an inner peripheral portion of the coil and a second end portion radially protruding from an outer peripheral portion of the coil.

    Abstract: A slot-less motor includes a rotor and a stator which is equipped with a coil assembly made of a combination of a plurality of coils. Each of the coils is designed as an air core coil which includes a pair of effective coil portions and a pair of coil ends. The coils assembly has the effective coil portions each of which is disposed in air cores of the respective adjacent coils. The coils include first coils each of which is not located between a center line and each of outer outlines of a respective adjacent one of the first coils.

    Abstract: A drive apparatus includes a motor unit and an electronic control unit. The motor unit includes a first end frame, a second end frame, a stator, a rotor and a shaft. The control unit controls driving of the shaft. An outer wall surface of the stator is exposed between the first end frame and the second end frame. The stator is thus enabled to contact outside air directly so that heat radiation characteristic of the stator is improved.
