Abstract: An optical device and systems for near and distance imaging includes an optical unit with a first optical lens and a second optical lens, the first optical lens and second optical lens being arranged along an optical axis, and a transceiver unit with a transceiver element, a light passage surface of the transceiver element being arranged in or intersecting a plane or curved surface. A first distance between the surface and the first optical lens is provided along the optical axis and set in such a way that, during intended normal operation, the transceiver element of the transceiver unit is imaged onto a distant imaging surface by the optical unit.
