Abstract: Various arrangements for dynamically adjusting physical resource block (PRB) usage on a cellular network are presented. An entity may be determined to be exercising its priority to spectrum overlapping PRBs used by the cellular network. A frequency band being used by the entity based on measuring the signal strengths of wireless transmission by the entity can be determined. Subcarriers of the PRBs are identified that overlap the frequency band. A predefined Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) format can be selected based at least in part on the identified subcarriers. A predefined Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) format can be selected based at least in part on the identified plurality of subcarriers.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for employing dynamic physical resource block allocation strategies and schemes among a plurality of wireless network cells. A plurality of physical resource block allocation strategies are generated for the plurality of cells. A plurality of allocation schemes are then generated for the plurality of cells, wherein each separate allocation scheme of the plurality of allocation schemes defines a different utilization procedure for the plurality of physical resource block allocation strategies. Separate allocation schemes are assigned to separate cells. Each cell utilizes its assigned allocation scheme to allocate physical resource blocks to user devices.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for automatically detecting wireless neighbor relationships within a wireless network. While a user device is using a first cell for communications, the user device detects and provides a physical cell identifier for a second cell to a computing device, e.g., the first cell or server. The computing device queries a relationship table of the first cell for a known handover relationship between the first cell and the second cell. If the table does not include the known handover relationship, the computing device instructs the user device to obtain a cell global identifier of the second cell. The computing device then adds a new handover relationship between the first cell and the second cell to the relationship table using the cell global identifier of the second cell. Communications for the user device can be automatically handed over from the first cell to the second cell.

Abstract: Systems and methods for enhanced PRACH 5G configuration by preventing interference with signal transmission. One such method includes: implementing a PRACH configuration in which the same root sequence index (RSI) is utilized across the sectors of the site, implementing the PRACH configuration in which a time shift is utilized for each preamble that provides each preamble with its own time slot, enabling multiple UEs to each send a preamble that is time shifted to arrive at the gNB at different times and avoid a RAPID (Random Access Preamble Identifier) mismatch, and receiving preambles that are frequency shifted and reducing PRACH interference among different sectors that causes a degradation of PRACH performance using shifts in time domain.
