Abstract: The invention relates to a wheel, comprising a metal disk and a rim which rim comprises a metal part and a continuous fiber reinforced composite part present on an outer surface of the metal part of the rim, wherein the continuous fiber reinforced composite part comprises a semi-crystalline polyamide with a melting temperature of at least 180° C. The invention also relates to a process for preparing a wheel as well as a tape for use in production of the wheel.
