Abstract:
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING SHAPED ARTICLES OF ZIRCONIUM CORUNDUM WHICH COMPRISES SHAPING A FINE GRAINED EUTECTIC MIXTURE OF LOW-SILICA BAUXITE AND ZIRCONIUM OXIDE, POSSIBLY IN ADMIXUTRE WITH AN ORGANIC BINDING AGENT AND HEATING THE SHAPED BODIES IN A REDUCING ATMOSPHERE AT A TEMPERATURE OF 1250-1500*C. OR IN AN OXIDIZING ATMOSPHERE AT A TEMPERATURE OF 1400-1600*C.
