摘要: Techniques for generating a composite spatial representation are presented. For example, a method includes obtaining a plurality of source spatial representations from a plurality of source applications, and forming the composite spatial representation by combining the plurality of source spatial representations. The composite spatial representation is operative to interact with at least one behavioral element that is separate from the composite spatial representation. The obtaining of the plurality of source spatial representations and the forming of the composite spatial representation are executed on a computing system comprising a processor and a memory. One or more computer program instructions for implementing the obtaining of the plurality of source spatial representations and the forming of the composite spatial representation are obtained from the memory and executed by the processor device.

摘要: A system and method to facilitate communications among team members or subscribers using a virtual assistant and a derived points of contact (POC) list to initiate contacts. The virtual assistant automates the task of reaching a party to be contacted through trying a variety of POC options until a connection is established or the options are exhausted. The system takes advantage of the POC provided by a person to be contacted, reducing the burden of maintaining a complete personal contact list by each team member or subscriber. The virtual assistant uses the derived POC list to establish a preferred method for contacting a team member or subscriber.

摘要: Methods and apparatus are provided for distributed rule processing in a sense and respond system. A method for identifying a candidate set of rules is disclosed, comprising the steps of: identifying one or more rules that receive information from one or more sensors to create a first candidate set of rules; evaluating each of the identified rules to identify an initial candidate set of rules, wherein a rule is added to the initial candidate set if a selected device is associated with sensors that are enabled to produce information for the rule being evaluated, if the selected device is enabled to locally provide input information required by the rule being evaluated, and if the rule being evaluated is associated with a group of devices and there are no correlation operators that consume events generated from other devices in the group of devices; and evaluating each rule in the initial candidate set to identify a final candidate set of rules, wherein any rule that receives information from the rule being evaluated is added to the initial candidate set to create the final candidate set if the selected device is enabled to locally satisfy input information required by the rule that receives information and if the rule that receives information is associated with a group of devices and there are no correlation operators that consume events generated from other devices in the group of devices.
