摘要: Retroreflective material is used to create security features in secure documents. Retroreflective material in the document or sheets used for document creation is laser engraved to create optically variable images, identification quality grayscale images, different directional images viewable at corresponding angles of incidence, multidimensional images, and floating images. High refractive index glass beads are selectively applied to areas of a document surface using a variety of techniques. The beads may be applied in the form of a pre-determined or personalized pattern.

摘要: A mandrel includes a mandrel body with a proximal major diameter barrel section, a diameter reducing/tapered portion and a distal minor diameter barrel section. The tapered portion connects the proximal major diameter barrel section and distal minor diameter barrel section. The proximal major diameter barrel section has a major diameter, the distal minor diameter barrel section has a minor diameter, the minor diameter less than the major diameter. The minor diameter is less than a diameter of an inner lumen of a coaxial catheter, and the major diameter exceeds the inner diameter of the outer lumen guidewire exit port of the coaxial catheter, and the tapered portion is sized to form a fluid seal the inner diameter of the outer lumen guidewire exit port. The distal minor diameter barrel section of the mandrel occupies and substantially seals and prevent flow through it to the catheter distal end guidewire entry port.

摘要: In a system and method for processing a form comprising a plurality of entry markings, an area-array image sensor may capture an image of the form in free-space without requiring relative movement of the sensor and the form. A processor may interpret the captured image to determine at least a first entry selection based, at least in part, on the position of at least one of the plurality of entry markings with respect to at least one other marking in the image.

摘要: A pillow assembly including a foam core having a top surface, side surface, and bottom surface, and an outer layer covering the top surface and side surface and leaving the bottom surface substantially exposed. The foam core has a higher hardness and a higher density than the outer layer. The foam core and the outer layer comprise reticulated or non-reticulated visco-elastic foam. The outer layer covers a majority of the foam core and has a substantially constant thickness across the top surface. The foam core includes a front side and a back side, both of which are covered by the outer layer and left and right sides of the foam core, which are exposed.

摘要: An animation tool which is configured to enable a user to generate one or more animations for subsequent execution on a computer platform is described. The animation tool provides a plurality of graphical integers which a user can use to generate an animation. The graphical integers are divisible into graphical elements and graphical element effects, the effects being applied by a user onto an element and defining the viewing properties of that element.
