摘要： A balloon inflation device for use with a keyed balloon weight associated with a balloon to be filled with gas includes a source of pressurized gas sending gas through gas lines and multiple valves associated with an inflation block, wherein each valve is opened by properly manipulating elements of the inflation block. A key weight valve is opened by placing a key weight into a key weight receptacle in the inflation block, and a clamp valve is opened by manipulating a clamp mechanism. The key weight is associated with a balloon having a open neck that is placed over an inflation nozzle of the inflation block, before placing the key weight into the key weight receptacle. The clamp mechanism clamps the neck of the balloon to the inflation nozzle as it opens the clamp valve. With both valves open, gas may flow to the inflation nozzle to fill the balloon.

摘要： An adjustable reclining mechanism for a seat back of a baby stroller includes a seat back that is hinged to a stroller frame having opposed sides and a cross bar extending between the opposed sides above the seat back. A flexible web or belt extends from a medial portion of the upper edge of the seat back. Secured to the cross bar is a buckle that includes one end adapted to pivot freely about the cross bar, and an opposed tab end to .facilitate manipulation of the buckle. The buckle includes a planar member having a pair of adjacent slots disposed to receive the belt extending from the seat back. The web is frictionally immobilized by the buckle when the planar member is disposed generally vertically. When the planar member is rotated to a substantially horizontal disposition, the belt is free to translate through the slots of the buckle. To adjust the angle of reclination of the seat back, the user engages the tab of the buckle to rotate the buckle horizontal and free the belt to translate through the slots of the buckle. The belt end may be pulled to shorten the length extending from the buckle to the seat back and raise the seat back toward an upright position. To further recline the seat back, the user supports the seat back with one hand to permit the seat back to tilt back safely while the buckle is held in the horizontal position with the other hand.

摘要： A crayon sharpening assembly is disclosed comprising an axially rotating cartridge block (106) having an axial bore (178) for axial receipt of a crayon with a forward end of the crayon positioned within a cutting station (152). A pair of convergent sharpening blades (158, 160) carve a conical nose into the forward crayon end; a secondary horizontal blade (180) engages the forward crayon end and cuts an annular stepped shoulder surrounding the conical nose; and a preparatory vertical blade (188) makes a vertical circumscribing cut through the jacket of the crayon proximate the forward end, whereby restoring the forward crayon end into its manufactured form. A carrying case (12, 14) is provided having a pivotal lid (16), with the sharpener drive assembly (20, 22) built into one end wall. A drawer assembly (100) is removable from the end wall and contains the cartridge block (106) and a housing (102) for collecting shavings generated in the sharpening procedure. A bottom housing door (104) opens to allow expulsion of the shavings. Rotation of the cartridge block (106) is facilitated by an electrically driven drive assembly that is automatically engaged and disengaged by the respective insertion and removal of the crayon and disengaged by the removal of the drawer housing assembly. Rotation of the cartridge block (106) is defeated by clutch member (230) whenever an article that has a hardness greater than that of a crayon is inserted into the cartridge block cutting station (152).

In addition to an outer filtering layer, a secondary filtering layer or layers are provided spanning the upper orifice. A monitoring mechanism for measuring and communicating a function of the air filter is further located within the upper orifice. The monitoring mechanism measures and communicates the function of the air filter. A plurality of sensors measure a differential pressure between the outer and inner surfaces of the filter. A remote communication system transmits sensor data from the sensors via a wireless communication protocol to a remote electronic monitor device, such as a cell phone. Increased pressure differential or filter performance or efficacy may thereby be displayed to the user on a real-time basis. 摘要： In a gate or similar closure suitable for temporary and quick installation across a passageway comprised of a vertical barrier, frame, and pivotable gate within the frame, a locking apparatus is provided which allows quick and easy width changes of the closure within various widths of passageways. The locking apparatus does not require disassembly from the closure in order to change the width of the passage. The locking apparatus includes rail engaging hooks which wrap substantially circumferentially around the rails of the vertical barrier. The closure is braced in the passageway and locked into position by conventional clamp screws being tightened against the side walls of the passageway, thus forcing the rails into slots defined by the hooks.

摘要： A D.C. tool switch assembly is provided with a pair of field effect transistors (FETs) maintained internally of the housing. The switch assembly is configured of a number of subassemblies maintained within the housing, including a contact subassembly having the motor and battery contacts and a pair of pivoting contacts. The field effect transistors are maintained on a second subassembly which nests within the housing and is substantially orthogonal to the contact subassembly. A post passes through the pair of FETs and is formed to engage a heat sink on each of opposite sides of the switch housing. The heat sinks are separate and distinct from each other and individually formed. Each of the heat sinks makes close contacting engagement with an associated one of the FETs. The post provides for interconnection between the FETs and the pair of heat sinks.
