摘要： Solid particle dispersions of blocked developers useful in imaging elements can be made with substantially improved stability to particle growth by dispersing the blocked developer of interest in the presence of a relatively small amount of an additional blocked developer that is structurally similar to the main blocked developer of interest. This additional blocked developer can be combined with the main blocked developer of interest prior to dispersing the main blocked developer of interest, i.e., prior to milling in the case of milled dispersions, and prior to precipitation in the case of pH or solvent precipitated dispersions.

摘要： Improved compounds and base precursors that undergo thermal decomposition are disclosed. Thermal base precursors, and in particular, a novel class of salts of arylsulfonylacetic acids as bleaching agents or promoting for photothermographic use are disclosed. Compositions employing these thermal base precursors are suitable for use in acutance and antihalation systems, bleachable filter dye materials, and in promoting unblocking of various components such as blocked developers, especially in photothermographic elements.

A non-photosensitive indicator device is associated with either or both of the packaging enclosures. This non-photosensitive indicator device is adapted to provide a visually observable indication of a predetermined cumulative thermal exposure and a predetermined temperature event (that is, single temperature event) of the package. This indicator device is able to provide information as to the time-temperature history of the package.

The composition includes an aqueous medium and/or one or more oils. The amount of the aqueous medium is from 45 to about 95 weight percent. The amount of oils is from 0.03 to about 50 weight percent. The composition may also include up to about 1 weight percent of one or more soothing agents; up to about 5 weight percent of one or more thickeners; and up to about 38 weight percent of one or more emulsifiers. The composition does not contain alcohols, chlorinated compounds, iodine, or phenols.

摘要： An externally testable redundant seal connector for a well comprising a connector body and a ferrule disposed on an end of the connector body. The ferrule is adapted for forming a primary seal between an outer diameter of the connector body and a profile in a mandrel. A sealing groove can be formed on the outer diameter of the connector body. A sealing device can be disposed in the sealing groove. A conduit can be formed in the connector body parallel to but disconnected from the thru-bore. Ports can be disposed in the connector body for receiving fluid and introducing fluid to at least one conduit. A plug can be insertable in each port upon completion of testing wherein each plug forms a secondary seal between the connector and the mandrel.
