An object of the present invention is to provide a method for the isolation of antibodies from a solution containing one or more antibodies, comprising the steps of precipitating the antibody and washing the solid precipitate with washing buffer. Preferably, the antibody is precipitated by using a PEG solution or sodium phosphate.
