摘要： A pump that includes a cylinder housing having a through bore. A cylinder liner is disposed substantially within the through bore and includes a substantially uniform aperture having a first diameter. A plunger includes an engagement portion having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. The first diameter and the second diameter are sized to define a first diametrical clearance that is less than about 0.1 percent of the second diameter.

摘要： Apparatus and methods for diverting objects to a second path from a first path. Some embodiments include an articulatable diverting member coupled to an endless loop placed at an oblique angle above the first path of the conveyor. The diverting members are selectively placed in either a retracted position or an extended position based on sensory knowledge of the particular objects passing underneath the endless member. In the extended position, the diverting members contact the particular objects and slide them to the second path. In the retracted position, the conveyed objects pass underneath the diverting member.

摘要： An electrically conducting fuel filter mechanism for a fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine. The housing for the fuel filter has a conductive inner or core layer and at least one non-conductive outer layer positioned adjacent the fuel. The conductive layer is made from a non-conductive material with conductive fibers or powders mixed in it, while the non-conductive layer is free from the conductive materials. Any electrostatic or electrical charge buildup in the fuel filter, fuel or housing, will be dissipated through the inner non-conductive layer forming conductive paths directly to the conductive layer. This prevents any further charge buildup and pitting.
