摘要： Horse hoof protection is obtained by incorporating a synthetic organic resin such as a urethane resin in the volume defined by the horse hoof bottom wall, suitably covered with a web fixed to the hoof bottom wall that is adhered to said resin. The resin protection is suitably free flowing into place, conforms to the contours of the hoof bottom wall, and adheres to the wall when cured. The protection by the resin is resilient and softer than the hoof wall and acts to cushion the hoof against shock.

摘要： A blender for dental impression materials - alginates and dental stones, for example--is provided with a multispeed electric motor for actuating a turntable through a speed reducing geartrain. The turntable surmounts a substantially rectangular enclosure for the drive components. A handgrip for the user is provided in a narrow end of the enclosure, near a control switch for the drive motor. A flexible rubber bowl is removably mounted on the turntable and receives the materials to be blended. Elastomeric support strips along the base of the enclosure are carried over an angled rear panel of the lower half of the housing, so as to provide nonskid support means as the enclosure is tilted to facilitate the blending process by moving the rotational axis of the bowl away from the vertical.

摘要： A dental paste cup is provided which comprises a cup having an open mouth defined by a rim, a removable closure overlying the open mouth and engaging the rim, and a finger mount extending adjacently and circumferentially from the rim, in a ring-like manner, and terminating in an open end proximate to the rim to thereby provide a slide-resistant grip on a support finger. In a preferred embodiment, the closure is releasably secured to the inner rim of the cup and the open end segment of the finger mount, which is releasably attached to the outer rim of the cup, passes through an aperture in the finger mount into alignment with an outer extension of the closure. The application of a vertical squeezing force to the finger mount disengages the end segment from the rim and permits the end segment to bear against the outer extension of the closure and thereby effect displacement of the closure form the mouth of the cup.
