摘要： Some embodiments of the present invention provide a vehicle seat that is movable to different positions with respect to a vehicle and that is coupled to a lockable strut that is variable in length. In some embodiments, a user-manipulatable control is coupled to a lock associated with the strut, and can be manipulated to unlock the lock, and to thereby enable the vehicle seat to be moved. Also, in some embodiments the vehicle seat has a seat back movable to different positions with respect to a seat base and that can be selectively secured against movement with respect to the seat base.
