Abstract: The present invention relates to a sealing system for an oven cavity (10) of an oven, in particular of a cooking oven. The sealing system includes an outer steam-tight gasket (20) attachable or attached at a front frame (26), which encloses a cavity frame (12) of the oven cavity, which in turn encloses a front opening of said oven cavity (10). The sealing system includes an inner heat resistant gasket (18) attachable or attached at the cavity frame (12) and/or at the front frame (26), so that the inner heat resistant gasket (18) is aligned at least partially at the cavity frame (12) and at an inner panel (16) of an oven door (14) for closing the oven cavity (10) in a closed state of said oven door (14). The sealing system includes a gap sealing (19) arrangeable or arranged within a gap between the cavity frame (12) and the front frame (26), so that the gap sealing (19) encloses completely or partially the cavity frame (12). The inner heat resistant gasket (18) and the outer steam-tight gasket (20) are attachable or attached in such a way, that said inner heat resistant gasket (18) and outer steam-tight gasket (20) are aligned at the inner panel (16) of the oven door (14) at least in the closed state of said oven door (14).

Abstract: The present invention relates to an oven door (12) for a microwave oven (10) or for an oven with microwave heating function. The oven door (12) comprises a wave choke system (20) formed as or within a door frame of said oven door (12). The wave choke system (20) encloses a see-through area of the oven door (12). The wave choke system (20) includes a frame part (22) and a plurality of wave choke elements (26). The frame part (22) includes a base plate (24), on which the wave choke elements (26) are fastened. The base plate (24) is arranged parallel to a main plane of the oven door (12). The wave choke elements (26) are serially arranged along the frame part (22) and enclose at least partially the see-through area of the oven door (12). The wave choke element (26) is formed as a U-shaped metal stripe. The series of wave choke elements (26) on the base plate (24) form a wavelike ribbon. A notch (46) is formed in the central portion of the wave choke element (26), so that the central portion of the wave choke element (26) is smaller than the open end portion of said wave choke element (26). The notches (46) of the wave choke elements (26) are provided for receiving an inner glass panel (34) of the oven door (10), wherein at least two neighboured wave choke elements (26) arranged along the same side of the oven door (12) include aligned notches (46) for receiving the same edge of the inner glass panel (34). Further, the present invention relates to a wave choke system (20) for an oven door (12) of a microwave oven (10) or of an oven with microwave heating function. Moreover, the present invention relates to a microwave oven (10) or an oven with microwave heating function.
