Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and a method for receiving a satellite broadcast. The method may include estimating a channel using signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) information being received, determining a video signal to be received among at least two video signals based on the estimated channel, and controlling selective reception of the determined video signal.
