Abstract: A solid polymeric electrolyte and a lithium battery with the same. The electrolyte includes a polymer matrix, which may have a mesh structure with the polymer matrix being formed of a cured photo-crosslinking agent. The electrolyte also includes inorganic particles distributed in the polymer matrix, and a lithium salt and an organic solvent impregnated between the polymer matrix and the inorganic particles. The electrolyte has a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion connecting the first and second portions, wherein one of the first, second, and third portions is located apart from a flat plane connecting the others. The lithium battery includes an anode electrode provided with an anode active material and an anode current collector, and a cathode electrode provided with a cathode active material and a cathode current collector and disposed to face the anode electrode, with the electrolyte interposed between the two electrodes.
