Abstract: Compounds of the formula WHEREIN R represents lower alkyl, lower halogenalkyl, lower alkenyl, lower halogenalkenyl, cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl, M REPRESENTS THE INTEGER 2 OR 3, N REPRESENTS THE INTEGER 1 OR 2 WHEREBY THE SUM OF OR SULPHUR, + N 4, AND OF THE SYMBOLS X and Y one represents sulphur and the other represents oxygen or sulphur, ARE DISCLOSED AS HERBICIDALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCES. Compositions as well as a method for controlling weeds and wild grasses with the aid of such compounds are also described.
