Abstract: Technologies are generally described for detection of foot edema through in-shoe pressure sensors and analysis of detected pressure values. Multiple pressure sensors may be employed in contact with a foot. The pressure sensors may detect pressure generated on a surface of the foot by fluid accumulation within cells of the foot. A change in pressure may be monitored by analyzing pressure values received from the pressure sensors. In some embodiments, a pressure rebound curve may be determined while monitoring the change in the pressure. A comparison between a newly acquired pressure rebound curve and an established-normal pressure rebound curve corresponding to a healthy foot may be made. If the pressure rebound curve is determined to indicate a slower change (rebound) in detected pressure than a change in pressure indicated by the normal pressure rebound curve, the presence of foot edema may be inferred.

Abstract: In some examples, a device to facilitate prevention or alleviation of a repetitive motion disorder may include a physical interface and a motor. The physical interface may include a size, a shape, an orientation, and a position. The motor may be operably coupled to the physical interface. The motor may be configured to automatically change at least one of the size, the shape, the orientation, or the position of at least a portion of the physical interface ergonomically and repeatedly during use of the device to facilitate prevention or alleviation of the repetitive motion disorder.

Abstract: Methods and systems effective to implement adjusting of display intensity are generally described. In some examples, a processor may receive display instructions. The display instructions may include instructions that relate to display of first output data. The first output data may be effective to produce a first intensity when rendered by a display. The processor may apply a technique at a first level to the display instructions to generate second output data. The second output data may be effective to produce a second intensity when rendered by the display. The second intensity may be less than the first intensity. The processor may apply the technique at a second level to the display instructions to generate third output data. The third output data may be effective to produce a third intensity when rendered by the display. The third intensity may be less than the second intensity.
