Abstract: An eyewear, including a first receptacle and a second receptacle; a first lens element received in the first receptacle; and a light sensor configured to detect incident light and provide a sensor signal based on the detected incident light. The eyewear further includes an analysis module. The analysis module is operably coupled to the light sensor to receive the sensor signal from the light sensor, and operably coupled to the variable optical filter structure to provide a control signal to the variable optical filter structure. The analysis module is configured to control the optical state of the variable optical filter structure thereby adjusting an illuminance ratio of light transmitted by the first lens element to light transmitted at a position of the second receptacle. Further provided is a method for adjusting a variable optical filter system for an eyewear, and a method and computer program for controlling the eyewear.

Abstract: An illumination system adapted for an eyewear that includes a light source configured to emit a first light including a power spectrum having full width at half maximum of less than 100 nm in a first range of wavelengths and a second light including a power spectrum having full width at half maximum of less than 100 nm in a second range of wavelengths, the power spectrum of the first light and the power spectrum of the second light differ from each other, and the light source is further configured to emit pulses of light with a pre-determined time function. The pre-determined time function comprises a plurality of packets, each packet of the plurality of packets being followed by a packet interval, and each packet including a pulse alternation between a pulse of the first light and a pulse of the second light.
