Abstract: A light fixture includes a light housing defining an interior space. A light source is at least partially disposed in the interior space of the light housing. A driver housing is attached to the light housing and defines an interior space. A driver is disposed in the interior space of the driver housing for providing electricity to the light source. The driver is configured for connection to a main power source for energizing the light fixture. A battery is disposed in the interior space of the driver housing and is configured to provide backup power to the light fixture in the event of a loss of power from the main power source.
