    Abstract: A combination attache case and traveling desk includes a working desk top compartment which is formed immediately subjacent the largest wall of a case lid and is separate and distinct from the large central storage compartment forming the remainder of the attache case. The attache case includes hingedly connected box-like hollow base and lid members. In the improvement of the invention, when the case is in horizontal upright position, the upper or lid member includes a substantially flat horizontal wall defining the boundry between the major inner attache case compartment and the desk top compartment which is positioned subjacent the top peripheral edge of the lid. A substantially flat desk top compartment cover is hingedly retained on the rear of the lid and is sized to close flush with the upper peripheral border of the lid. The horizontal wall, peripheral border, and cover define a shallow compartment in which a writing paper tablet, documents and other writing or reading paraphernalia may be stored. The cover includes means for being maintained in a vertical position during use of the desk top compartment, and means for retaining documents on the inner surface thereof.

    Abstract: A luggage piece and a method for packing and transporting the same are provided. A first compartment has an interior for carrying first items. A second compartment is provided for carrying second items. The second items are distinguishable from the first items in that the second compartment includes a hanging device for hanging articles from the hanging device. The second compartment, therefore, acts as a garment carrier and the first compartment acts as a standard luggage compartment. The first compartment and the second compartment are integrally formed as a single luggage piece for simple packing and unpacking of articles as well as simplified transport of the luggage piece following packing of the articles. An extendable arm having a handle and wheels is provided for transport of the luggage piece.

    Abstract: A soft-sided carrying case or travel bag having individual business document and paraphenalia storage compartments, an umbrella storage retainer, and a compartment suitable for storing clothes is combinable with an improved garment bag which may be folded in half and retained in that position by a neck and collar configuration on the top of the bag.     Abstract: Luggage, such as hand carried briefcases, purses or the like, are provided with key ring holders on an inner face thereof, preferably a cover. The holder is in the form of a short horizontal or longitudinal strap secured at its midsection to the face just above an open top of a conventional pocket or envelope mounted on the inner face. The strap has wings or legs projecting from its secured mid portion. The end of each wing or leg has a pad of a hook and loop ("Velcro") fastener secured on its inner side. A complimentary hook and loop pad is secured to the opposing inner face of the cover at a location to secure the outer ends of the wings or legs in an extended flat condition against the cover. The two wings or legs are pulled free of the cover carried pads, and are brought together on opposite sides of their secured mid portion. A key carrying key ring is draped over the juxtaposed wings which are then spread apart back to their original extended positions and pressed against the cover pads to trap the key ring on opposite sides of the secured central portion of the strap. The keys on the key ring are dropped into the mouth of the pocket or envelope to be held flatwise in an easily accessible position until needed.

    Abstract: A sports duffle bag has a canvas, plastic, or leather, top opening tubular body, with a sidewall open top pocket closed by a slide fastener, and sized to snugly receive the head of a tennis racket. An opening at a top corner of the pocket permits the racket handle to project from the pocket. An expansion panel is secured in the mouth of the pocket and has two flaps connected by a slide fastener so that in the open position the flaps hang in the pocket alongside the head of the racket and in the closed position the flaps are pulled above the pocket and closed over a racket head extending above the pocket thus increasing the height of the pocket for accommodating oversized rackets.
