    摘要: An image forming apparatus receives a print request and image information data from a terminal device connected to it via a network and executes a print job. The print job processing status is stored in a non-volatile memory. When the power to the printer is restored after being terminated, where print jobs that have not yet been processed are determined to exist after reference to the print job processing status stored in the non-volatile memory. The terminal device that requested said print job is requested to resend the image information data for that print job. Therefore, if the terminal device is constructed such that it receives the resend request and resends the image information data, the image forming apparatus can smoothly execute the non-processed print jobs based on the resent image information data.

    摘要: In an image forming apparatus for reading a document image and forming the document image on a paper, document image data are divided into a plurality of blocks and the document image data are compressed in the unit of block to be stored in a first memory device. The data read from the first memory device are expanded in the unit of block to be stored in a second memory device. Compression time and expansion time are estimated and image output start time for a printer is set based on the compression and expansion times before expansion of all the blocks is completed. In a different way, the start time is set to read data from a second memory device by a printer for printing, after estimation based on expansion time on data not yet expanded by an expansion device. In a still different way, predetermined form data such as page number are superposed with image data. The form data is drawn first in a page memory device and expanded image data are superposed next in the page memory device. Print is started by taking drawing time of the form data into account.

    摘要: A document administration system includes document storing apparatuses and a server connected via a network. Each of the document storing apparatuses includes plural boxes for storing information. The server includes an output request receiving portion for receiving an output request on a document stored in one of the document storing apparatuses; and an output destination selecting portion for selecting one of the document storing apparatuses for outputting the document corresponding to the output request. A discriminating portion of the server discriminates whether the selected document storing apparatuses coincides with the document storing apparatuses in which the document is stored. If so, a controller of the server makes the selected document storing apparatus output the document. If not, the controller obtains the document from the document storing apparatus in which the document is stored and transmits the obtained document to the selected document storing apparatuses to output the document.
