摘要: A wireless communications terminal prevents radio interferences caused by other wireless communications concurrent with a contactless communication. A wireless communications terminal receives, in a contactless communication, a command from a reader/writer via a second wireless communications section, and analyzes the received command. The wireless communications terminal controls a wireless communications control section to deactivate or temporarily deactivate the function of a first wireless communications section depending on the analysis of the command. After the function of the first wireless communications section is deactivated or temporarily deactivated, the wireless communications terminal accesses a memory area of an IC card microcomputer system as specified by the command to perform a contactless communication.

摘要: A digital recording system for stereophonic audio signals is disclosed. Included is an MP3 encoder coupled to an ADC for encoding the two channels of digital audio signals into a compressed data stream. Before being directed into a flash memory for editing, the compressed data stream is split into the original two channels of audio data blocks. An editing device is coupled to the flash memory for block-by-block editing of the stored audio data blocks. On being subsequently retrieved from the flash memory, the two channels of audio data blocks are reformatted into an MP3 data stream preparatory to introduction into an MP3 decoder.

摘要: A portable terminal allows the user to flexibly and readily change an overlay output distribution for reproduced data in accordance with the user's taste and can automatically control the overlay output distribution in accordance with a surrounding environment. A setting means sets output parameters which are parameters related to reproduced data output for each reproduced data. A data output control means processes each of the reproduced data based on the output parameters set by the setting means and outputs the processed output data.

摘要: If a scene specifying button (202) is pressed while a TV program is being viewed (S601), scene specification information including a point in time, a channel, and the like is generated (S602). The broadcast data of a scene corresponding to this scene specification information is retrieved from a related information storage section 404 (S603). The retrieved broadcast data is subjected to format conversion so as to become text data (S604). The text obtained by the format conversion is put into the body of an electronic mail (S605). After a complementary addition is made to the body of the electronic mail as necessary (S606 and S607), the electronic mail which is completed is transmitted to a destination user (S608). This makes it possible to create a mail easily and accurately, so that a communication system that fulfills the necessity of immediate response is realized.

摘要: Via a mobile communication network, a transmission apparatus receives position information representing a current position of a reception apparatus. Based on the received position information, the transmission apparatus generates notice data indicating that it is necessary to correct preprogrammed program information identifying a program which has been preprogrammed for viewing or preprogrammed for recording and being generated at the reception apparatus, and transmits the generated notice data to the reception apparatus. Accordingly, a transmission apparatus is provided which generates information that allows preprogramming of a broadcast program for viewing or recording to be properly performed at the reception apparatus side, or which generates a correct broadcast program table, and transmits the generated information or program table to the reception apparatus.

摘要: The water dispersible resin of the present invention is contained in a base component of a two-component thermosetting resin composition. The water dispersible resin is prepared by dispersing a solvent resin in water, which solvent resin is obtained by solution polymerization, carried out in two or more stages, of a monomer mixture containing a polyfunctional monomer, an acid group-containing monomer, and a hydroxyl group-containing monomer, the polyfunctional monomer having a plurality of vinyl groups in its single molecule. The monomer mixture contains the polyfunctional monomer by not less than 0.1% by weight but not more than 3% by weight, and the water dispersible resin thus obtained has an acid value of solid content of not less than 10 mgKOH/g but not more than 45 mgKOH/g, a hydroxyl value of solid content of not less than 50 but not more than 200, and a viscosity of not less than 50 mPa·s but not more than 10,000 mPa·s when a nonvolatile content is 45% by weight. This makes it possible to provide a two-component thermosetting resin composition, which is easily dealt with, formed into a coating film having an excellent appearance, and further, has an excellent pot life.
