Abstract: An optical connector (120) according to the present invention comprises: a holding unit (121); a first optical unit (122), a second optical unit (123), a convex unit (124), concave unit (125), a first inner regulating surface (126) and a first outer regulating surface (127). When the optical connector (120) is engaged with the other optical connector, the convex unit (124) and the concave unit (125) are configured to be respectively engaged with the concave unit (125) and the convex unit (124) of the other optical connector, the first inner regulating surface (126) is configured to contact the first outer regulating surface (127) of the other optical connector, and the first outer regulating surface (127) is configured to contact the first inner regulating surface (126) of the other optical connector.

Abstract: An optical receptacle according to the invention has: a first optical surface through which light; and a second optical surface through which light is emitted. When an intersection point of the optical axis of the first optical surface and the first optical surface is defined as an origin, the optical axis of the first optical surface is defined as a Z axis, the axis passing through the origin and perpendicular to the Z axis is defined as an X axis, and the axis perpendicular to the Z axis and the X axis is defined as a Y axis, the first optical surface is configured such that, when collimate light enters through the first optical surface from the inside of the optical receptacle, a second focal point is observed closer to the first optical point as compared with a first focal point.

Abstract: An optical connector for optically coupling optical transmission members to each other includes a first optical portion, a second optical portion, and a groove extending in one direction for disposing the optical transmission member in such a way that at least part of the end surface of the optical transmission member contacts the first optical portion. In the optical connector, in a cross section including the axis of the groove and an optical path between the first optical portion and the second optical portion, the angle between a surface of the first optical portion contacting the end surface of the optical transmission member and the axis of the groove is less than 90°.
