    摘要： An electronic device assembly includes a protective apparatus, a first electronic member, and a pivotal mechanism. The protective apparatus includes an upper housing and a lower housing. The first electronic member is housing in the upper housing. The pivotal mechanism received in the lower housing rotates the upper housing relative to the lower housing. When the upper housing is unlatched by the pivotal mechanism from the lower housing, the first electronic member leaves the protective apparatus, and when the upper housing is driven by the pivotal mechanism to latch to the lower housing, the first electronic member is shielded in the protective apparatus.

    摘要： A supporting device for supporting a flat panel display device includes a base, a sliding member, a supporting member, and a holding member. The base defines a pair of guiding grooves extending along a lengthwise direction of the base. The sliding member includes a first pedestal and a second pedestal. The first pedestal and the second pedestal are slidably received in the guiding grooves. The supporting member is hinged to the sliding member, and configured for supporting the flat panel display device. The holding member is slidably engaged with the base, and defines a holding cavity for receiving the supporting member.

    摘要： A hand-held device is provided. The hand-held device includes a rotary wheel, a first switch, a second switch, an encoder, a memory, and a controller. The rotary wheel has a plurality of positioning inputs. The encoder is responsive to operations on the rotary wheel and outputs positioning codes. The memory stores a plurality of input modes, wherein each input mode includes characters corresponding to positioning codes. The controller obtains an input mode from the memory, and shifts a current input mode to the input mode obtained in responsive to an input from the first switch. The controller inputs a character of the current input mode according to a positioning code that the encoder outputs in response to an input from the second switch. The above-mentioned rotary wheel can replace keyboard in the hand-held device.
