    摘要: A technique for forming a dovetail shaped groove in bone necessary in allograft transplantation such as the meniscus or the Achilles tendon. The technique uses a single drill guide that is designed to create a dovetail shape in bone. The drill guide is provided with a first opening for receiving one drill sleeve placed in a fixed location, and a second opening having an oblong shape for receiving a second drill sleeve having an offset cannulation. The combination of the two drill sleeves allows the surgeon to place two guide pins and ream over each guide pin resulting in a dovetail shape in the bone.

    摘要: An AMZ tibial tuberosity transfer system and method of treatment of patellofemoral joints. The AMZ system includes 1) a retractor with a better conformation to anatomy and more curve (not just a bend), and also with a larger radius on the front of the retractor to allow for easier insertion; 2) a cutting block that can fully accept a collared pin; 3) a rod preferably formed of stainless steel; 4) a tuberosity pin guide; 5) an exit indicator that engages tightly the cutting block so there is no slope on exit indication; and 6) a horizontal bar provided with markings to measure the medial shift.

    摘要: A portable security case (10) includes a base (12) and a lid (14). A cable lock (32) locks both the lid (14) to the base (12) and the base (12) to another object (59). A spring catch (66) and dead bolts (82) also lock the lid (14) to the base (12). A spring latch (68) prevents the spring catch (66) from unlocking when the cable lock (32) is locked. A cable (40) is captured in different positions within the base (12) for adjusting its length, and hinges (91 and 93) are mounted in interior side walls (28 and 30) of the base (12) to provide an uninterrupted parting line between the base (12) and the lid (14).
