    摘要: The spigot-and-socket joint which is secured against sliding is designated for moulded parts and for socket pipes (1) produced by the centrifugal casting technique, with the spigot end (3) of the one pipe adapted to be slid, with radial play, into the socket end (2) of the other pipe. In the socket end there are arranged a sealing ring (8) and a separate clamping ring (14) comprising a plurality of circumferentially extending, spaced clamping segments (15) having a spherically convex outer surface (17) and, on their inner surface (18), a tooth system (19) which, in the presence of axial forces, presses radially onto the spigot end (3) as the spherically convex surface (17) cooperates with a pipe socket's inner surface (18) which tapers conically towards the end. An elastomer support member (20), which can be fixed in its position at the socket face end and supports the same, is provided on the clamping ring (14). A form, which ensures proper retention also in the case of increased rated widths, is obtained when the support member's annular disk-shaped portion (23), which bears on the socket front face (22), comprises a reinforced transition region (26) of increased flexural strength in the region of the inner edge of the socket front face, with the portion (24) connecting to the clamping ring (14) issuing therefrom, and when the socket front face (22) has at its inner edge a recess matching the cross section of the reinforced transition region (26). There a steel ring (28), which increases the flexural strength and can be optionally inserted via an axial insertion slit (29), is cooperating with the reinforced transition region (26) of the support member.

    摘要: The plug-in socket joint secured against sliding movement is intended for socket pipes (1) manufactured by centrifugal casting, in which the spigot end (3) of one pipe may be inserted with radial play into the socket end (2) of the other pipe. In this joint, a sealing ring (8) and a clamping ring (14) structurally separate therefrom are arranged, said clamping ring being composed of a plurality of clamping segments (15) spaced from one another in peripheral direction. The latter have a spherical outer shell surface (17), are connected to each other in peripheral direction by means of a moulded-on intermediate layer of rubber or similar and each have a toothing (19) on their inner surface (18). A holding part (20), which may be fixed in the area of the socket face end and supporting same, is formed on the clamping ring (14) and comprises a connecting section (24) extending to the clamping ring (14) and tapering approximately conically, and may be expanded together with the clamping ring (14) in dependence on the outer dimensions of the spigot end (3) to be inserted and may thus be extended in axial direction. To prevent the toothing (19) of the clamping segments (15) from corroding as a result of penetrating moisture and oxygen, the connecting section (24) is provided in its area extending from the clamping ring (14) with the clamping segments (15) to the holding part (20) with at least one ring-shaped sealing edge (34) protruding radially inwards and elastically enclosing the spigot end of the inserted pipe.

    摘要: A spigot-and-socket joint which is secured against pulling apart, particularly for socket pipes manufactured by centrifugal casting or molding, wherein the spigot end of one pipe is pushed into the socket end of another pipe, with radial play, comprises a sealing ring and a gripping ring in the socket pipe, the gripping ring comprising a plurality of gripping segments mutually spaced circumferentially and each having a spherically convex radially outer surface and being interconnected in the circumferential direction by a vulcanized intermediate piece of rubber or the like, and a toothed configuration on the radially inner surface, so that when axial tensile forces arise at the joint, the toothed configurations are pressed radially inwardly against the spigot end by interaction of the spherically convex surfaces with an interior conical surface of the pipe socket which interior surface narrows in the direction of the distal end of the socket. In order to effectively eliminate relative radial movements of the gripping ring when the joined pipes are first subject to interior fluid pressure, an elastomeric holding piece is formed on the gripping ring, which gripping ring is separate from the sealing ring, the holding piece being attached to the distal end face of the socket and supporting the gripping ring.

    摘要: A pipe connection is formed between a relatively soft pipe segment and a stiffer socket by inserting a split securing ring in a groove of the socket, then spreading this ring and inserting the pipe segment through the split ring into the pipe segment without contact with the split ring. The mounting body maintaining the spread state of the split ring is then removed to allow the spring ring to engage with its intrinsic elastic force along the periphery of the pipe segment. Even if the inner surface of the split ring is provided with a corundum layer or like friction-enhancing structure there will be no damage to the outer periphery of the pipe which might interfere with sealing.
