Abstract: It is proposed a method for defining a design of an ophthalmic tinted lens provided with a turquoise blue ophthalmic filter. It is provided at least one optical parameter value that is prescribed with reference to a clear ophthalmic lens. At least one non-null optical power value is determined from said at least one prescribed optical parameter value. At least one reduction value is obtained. At least one reduced optical power value is calculated in function of said at least one non-null optical power value and said at least one reduction value. The ophthalmic tinted lens design is defined on the basis of said at least one reduced optical power value. Methods for defining a design of a first and a second ophthalmic tinted lens are also proposed. It is also proposed a corresponding ophthalmic tinted lens.

Abstract: A method of ordering an ophthalmic lens comprises the following steps: —obtaining data representative of a desired correction for a wearer's eye; —determining (S6, S8), using an electronic device, a lens power to be measured on a lensmeter based on the obtained data and on at least one parameter defining an expected position of the lens with respect to the wearer's eye, wherein the lens power corresponds to the power measured on the lensmeter for a lens adapted to provide the desired correction to the wearer's eye when placed at the expected position with respect to the wearer's eye; —ordering (S10) the ophthalmic lens specifying the determined power. A corresponding system is also provided.

Abstract: A method includes acquiring prescription data including an addition value. The method includes generating virtual surface data of a progressive addition lens for a further operation of surfacing of a lens blank, the operation of surfacing being configured to transform the lens blank into a surfaced lens satisfying the prescription data. The generating virtual surface data includes selecting a virtual base surface in a virtual base surface database, the selection being independent of the prescribed addition value, processing the selected virtual base surface according to the prescribed addition value to obtain a modified virtual base surface, selecting a virtual adjusting surface in a virtual adjusting surface database at least on the basis of a value of a parameter relative to the modified virtual base surface, and combining the modified virtual base surface and the selected virtual adjusting surface to form a virtual progressive adjusted surface.

Abstract: A method of determining a refractive power value characterising an ophthalmic lens for correction of an individual's eye ametropia includes: obtaining first data representative of a refraction value and second data representative of a position of the individual's head with respect to a refraction apparatus when the refraction value was determined; determining the refractive power value as a function of the first data and of a relative position, derived the second data, of the refraction apparatus with respect to a centre of rotation of the eye when the refraction value was determined. A corresponding electronic device is also proposed.

Abstract: A process for manufacturing an ophthalmic lens having at least one optical function, includes the following steps: additively manufacturing (100) an intermediate optical element by depositing a plurality of preset volume elements of at least one material having a preset refractive index, the intermediate optical element including a target ophthalmic lens and a thickness allowance consisting of a portion of the plurality of volume elements; and subtractively manufacturing (300), by machining, the target ophthalmic lens from the intermediate optical element, the machining being carried out in a preset sequence, of at least one step, the preset sequence making it possible to subtract the thickness allowance, the additive manufacturing step (100) including a step of determining a manufacturing setpoint for the intermediate optical element in which the thickness allowance is determined depending on the preset sequence defined in the subtractive manufacturing step (300).
