Abstract: This invention relates to catalyst systems comprising a catalyst compound having a bridged group 4 metal metallocene (where the bridge preferably contains an (Me2Si)2 group, an activator, and a support material. In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides for polyolefins and a process for producing a polyolefin composition comprising contacting at least one olefin with a catalyst system.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to asymmetric ansa-metallocene catalyst compounds that include at least one indenyl ligand substituted at the 3-position with a C3-C40 α-branched alkyl, such as 1-methylethyl, 1-methylpropyl, 1-methylbutyl, 1-ethylbutyl, 1,3-dimethylbutyl, 1-methyl-1-ethylbutyl, 1,1-diethylbutyl, 1-propylpentyl, and the like. Catalyst systems prepared with the catalyst compounds, polymerization methods using such catalyst systems, and polyolefins made using the polymerization methods are also described.

Abstract: This invention relates to a polyethylene composition, and films therefrom, comprising at least 65 wt % ethylene derived units and from 0.1 to 35 wt % of C3-C12 olefin comonomer derived units, where the polyethylene composition has: a) an RCI,m of less than 85 kg/mol; b) a Tw1-Tw2 value of from −15 to −40° C.; and c) an Mw1/Mw2 value of less than 1.5 where the film has a) a heat seal initiation temperature of X ° C. or less at 5 N of force, where X=0.0015×Y(psi)+62.6 (where Y is the average 1% Secant modulus ((MD+TD)/2)) of the film; b) a dart drop impact of 300 g/mil or more; c) an MD Elmendorf tear of 230 g or more; and d) average 1% Secant modulus ((MD+TD)/2) of 20,000 psi or more.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to catalyst systems, polyethylene compositions, and uses of such compositions in, e.g., films. In an embodiment is provided a film that includes a polyethylene composition, comprising: ethylene and a C3-C40 olefin comonomer, the polyethylene composition having at least 75 wt % ethylene content and from 0 wt % to 25 wt % of a C3-C40 olefin comonomer content based upon the total weight of the composition as determined by GPC-IR5-LS-VIS, the film having: an average of MD and TD 1% secant modulus of 42,000 psi or greater as determined by ASTM D-882, and a Dart Drop Impact of greater than 400 g/mil, as determined by ASTM D1709. In another embodiment is provided a process for producing a polyethylene composition, comprising: introducing, under first polymerization conditions, ethylene and a C3-C40 alpha-olefin to a catalyst system in a reactor, the catalyst system comprising a first catalyst compound, a second catalyst compound, and an activator; and forming a polyethylene composition.
