    Abstract: This invention relates to metallocene compounds represented by the formula: catalyst systems comprising said metallocene compound and an activator or a reaction product of the metallocene compound with the at least one activator, and polymerization processes using such metallocene compounds and activators, where Cpa and Cpb are optionally-substituted cyclopentadienyl rings; A is bridging group; q is zero or 1; Q is O, O(CR3R4)m, (CR3R4)mO, or (CR3R4)m; m is 0 to 18; Z is (CR3R4)2; LA is a Lewis acid; M is a transition metal; X1 and X2 are independently R5 or OR5; R1 and R2 are independently selected from optionally-substituted hydrocarbyl groups; R3 and R4 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, halogen, and an optionally-substituted hydrocarbyl group; and R5 is alkyl, aryl, perfluoroalkyl, or perfluoroaryl.

    Abstract: Provided herein are polyethylene compositions with broad orthogonal composition distribution. The polyethylene compositions may comprise at least 65 wt % ethylene-derived units and from 0 to 35 wt % of C3 to C12 olefin comonomer-derived units, and furthermore may exhibit a reversed comonomer index (RCI,m) of 100 kg/mol or greater, a Tw1-Tw2 value of from −16 to −38° C., and an Mw1/Mw2 value of at least 0.9, such as 0.9 to 4. Also provided are processes for making the polyethylene compositions, as well as films made from the polyethylene compositions. Such films may feature superior film stiffness for a given polyethylene composition density, and accordingly such films in some embodiments have average MD/TD modulus and density satisfying the following equation: Avg. Modulus≥1.2*(C1*Density−C2), where C1 and C2 are constants, such as C1=2,065,292 and C2=1,872,345.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides iron-containing catalyst compounds having a carbene ligand. Catalyst compounds of the present disclosure can be asymmetric, having an electron donating side of the catalyst and an electron deficient side of the catalyst. In some embodiments, catalysts of the present disclosure provide catalyst productivity values of 500 gPgcat−1hr−1 or greater and polyolefins, such as polyethylene copolymers, having comonomer content of 8 wt % or greater, a g′ vis value of 0.95 or greater, internal unsaturation content greater than 0.2 unsaturations per 1,000 carbons, broad orthogonal composition distribution, an Mn of 20,000 g/mol or greater, an Mw of 200,000 g/mol or greater, and an Mz/Mw from 2 to 5 or greater.
