摘要: A filter outer cylinder container is a hollow container, and a filter medium is mounted in the container. Fluid passage holes, opened in a side surface member of the filter outer cylinder container, are located at or above a fixed height from a bottom portion of the filter outer cylinder container, whereby a machining liquid is stored in the filter outer cylinder container, so that the filter medium can be always submerged in the machining liquid.

摘要: A dielectric working fluid processor for processing dielectric working fluid used in a wire electrical discharge machine includes: a dirty liquid tank for storing dielectric working fluid containing machining swarf; a filter for removing machining swarf from the dielectric working fluid in the dirty liquid tank; a clean liquid tank for storing the dielectric working fluid from which the machining swarf has been removed by the filter; a pump for supplying dielectric working fluid from the dirty liquid tank to the filter; an inverter for controlling electric power to be supplied to the pump; a pump controller for controlling the rotation speed of the pump by varying the frequency of electric power supplied from the inverter to the pump; and a feed pressure obtainer for obtaining the feed pressure of the dielectric working fluid supplied from the pump to the filter, based on the frequency of the electric power.

摘要: A machining liquid is supplied to a predetermined level when a workpiece is on a table. A volume of the workpiece is obtained from a difference between the machining liquid amount at the predetermined level when a previous workpiece is not on the table, and the machining liquid amount when the workpiece is on the table. A weight of the workpiece is obtained from the obtained volume and a previously stored density of the workpiece. A weight of a mounting jig is obtained in the same procedure. A total volume of the jig and workpiece is obtained when the jig is on the table and the workpiece is fixed to the jig. The volume of the workpiece is obtained by a difference with respect to the volume of the jig. The weight of the workpiece fixed to the jig is obtained from the obtained volume and the previously stored density.

摘要: A wire electrical discharge machine recognizes that the finished piece (core) has been separated from the piece of work as a result of electrical discharge machining, allows fluid to be jetted against the finished piece (core) from the lower nozzle so that the finished piece (core) floats upward, recognizes that the finished piece (core) has floated upward by a predetermined amount on the basis of the completion of the process program or the information gained from the sensor, and allows the core removal unit to catch the finished piece (core) for removal and collection after it has been recognized that the finished piece (core) has floated upward by the predetermined amount.
